KËSHILLI I QARKUT DURRËS PËRMBYLL ME SUKSES PJESËMARRJEN NË TAKIMIN NDËRRAJONAL TË PROJEKTIT iCEAR NË GIEßEN, GJERMANI

Këshilli i Qarkut Durrës, si partner zbulues (discovery partner) në projektin iCEAR – Përmirësimi i instrumenteve të politikave për ekonominë qarkulluese dhe efikasitetin e burimeve, bashkëfinancuar nga Programi Interreg Europe, mori pjesë aktive në takimin ndërrajonal të mbajtur nga data 24 deri më 26 qershor 2025 në Kongresshalle Gießen, Gjermani.

Takimi, i organizuar nga IfLS dhe Landkreisi i Gießen-it, shërbeu si një pikënisje strategjike për fazën e parë të zbatimit të projektit dhe u fokusua në:

🔹 Prezantimin e instrumenteve ekzistuese të politikave nga partnerët pjesëmarrës;

🔹 Diskutime të thelluara mbi rolin e të dhënave, cilësinë dhe aksesin ndaj tyre në funksion të përmirësimit të politikave publike në fushën e ekonomisë qarkulluese;

🔹 Vizita studimore në struktura lokale të menaxhimit të mbetjeve dhe rrjete të ripërdorimit si modele të praktikave të mira;

🔹 Themelimin e grupeve të punës ndërrajonale për politikat publike, si hap konkret drejt bashkëpunimit teknik dhe institucional ndërmjet rajoneve.

Në kuadër të këtij bashkëpunimi, Këshilli i Qarkut Durrës synon të analizojë situatën ekzistuese në nivel vendor dhe të përfitojë nga shkëmbimi i praktikave të mira me qëllim përmirësimin e instrumenteve të politikave për një ekonomi më të gjelbër, më të qëndrueshme dhe më efikase në përdorimin e burimeve.

Projekti iCEAR përfshin partnerë nga Gjermania (vendi pritës), Polonia, Irlanda, Franca, Greqia, Portugalia, Sllovenia, Finlanda dhe Shqipëria, duke e pozicionuar bashkëpunimin ndërrajonal si një mjet thelbësor për zhvillimin e politikave publike më cilësore në të gjithë Evropën.

Këshilli i Qarkut Durrës mbetet i angazhuar për të kontribuar në rritjen e kapaciteteve institucionale dhe për të orientuar zhvillimin lokal drejt objektivave të qëndrueshmërisë dhe ekonomisë qarkulluese, në përputhje me standardet evropiane.

DURRËS REGIONAL COUNCIL SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDES PARTICIPATION IN THE INTERREGIONAL iCEAR MEETING IN GIEßEN, GERMANY

The Durres Regional Council, as a discovery partner in the iCEAR project – Improving Circular Economy and Resource Efficiency Policy Instruments, co-funded by the Interreg Europe Programme, actively participated in the interregional meeting held from 24 to 26 June 2025 at Kongresshalle Gießen, Germany.

The meeting, organized by IfLS and the District of Gießen, served as a strategic starting point for the first phase of the project implementation and focused on:

🔹 Presentation of existing policy instruments by participating partners;

🔹 In-depth discussions on the role, quality, and accessibility of data for the development and improvement of public policies in the field of circular economy;

🔹 Study visits to local waste management structures and reuse networks as models of good practices;

🔹 Establishment of interregional policy working groups, as a concrete step toward technical and institutional cooperation between regions.

Through this cooperation, the Durres Regional Council aims to analyze the current situation at the local level and benefit from the exchange of good practices, with the objective of improving policy instruments towards a greener, more sustainable, and more resource-efficient economy.

The iCEAR project brings together partners from Germany (host), Poland, Ireland, France, Greece, Portugal, Slovenia, Finland, and Albania, positioning interregional cooperation as a key tool for the development of higher-quality public policies across Europe.

The Durres Regional Council remains committed to contributing to institutional capacity building and guiding local development towards sustainability and circular economy goals, in line with European standards.
