Këshilli i Qarkut Durrës mori pjesë në Takimin e 4-të Ndërrajonal dhe Rishikimin Kolegial në Mytilene, Ishulli Lesvos, më 11-13 shkurt 2025. Takimi bashkoi aktorë rajonalë për të diskutuar politikën e turizmit, bashkëpunimin ndërrajonal dhe zbatimin e projektit pilot.

Dita 1: Hapja dhe Prezantimet

Takimi u hap me fjalime përshëndetëse nga përfaqësues të rajonit të Egjeut të Veriut dhe Rajonit Marche të Italisë. Prezantimet kryesore përfshinë:

• Politika dhe Menaxhimi i Turizmit në Lesvos
• Iniciativat Rajonale të Turizmit
• Politika Kombëtare Greke e Turizmit
• Instrumenti i Politikës Rajonale dhe Objektivat e Tranzicionit Binjak

U prezantua veprimi pilot, duke përfshirë procesin, përzgjedhjen e njohurive dhe rezultatet e deritanishme. Pas drekës, Komiteti Drejtues diskutoi menaxhimin, financat, komunikimin dhe planifikimin e takimeve të ardhshme.

Dita 2: Vizita në Terren dhe Seminare

Pjesëmarrësit vizituan Gjirin e Kallonit për një turne vëzhgimi të shpendëve, të udhëhequr nga ekspertë mjedisorë. Më pas, në Qendrën Kulturore Desmos, u zhvillua një seminar mbi sfidat dhe mundësitë e zhvillimit të turizmit. Pasdite, u organizua një vizitë në Therma Spa Lesvos, ku u diskutuan përpjekjet për tranzicionin binjak.

Dita 3: Angazhimi Kulturor dhe i Palëve të Interesuara

Aktivitetet përfshinë eksplorimin e rrugës Ermou, vizitën në banjat osmane dhe një prezantim mbi materialet dixhitale promovuese për shtigjet e ecjes në Lesvos. Takimi u mbyll me prezantime përfundimtare dhe një drekë lamtumire, duke forcuar partneritetet dhe perspektivat e bashkëpunimit të ardhshëm.

Regional Council of Durrës at the 4th Interregional Meeting of the Interreg Europe TOURBO Project – Mytilene, Lesvos Island, February 11-13, 2025

The Regional Council of Durrës participated in the 4th Interregional and Peer Review Meeting in Mytilene, Lesvos Island, from February 11th to 13th, 2025. The event brought together regional stakeholders to discuss tourism policy, interregional cooperation, and pilot project implementation.

Day 1: Opening and Presentations

The meeting opened with speeches from representatives of the North Aegean Region and the Marche Region, Italy. Key presentations included:

• Tourism Policy and Management in Lesvos
• Regional Tourism Initiatives
• Greek National Tourism Policy
• Regional Policy Instrument & Twin Transition Goals

The pilot action overview covered process, knowledge selection, and outcomes. After lunch, the Steering Committeeaddressed management, finance, communication strategies, and future interregional meetings.

Day 2: Site Visits and Workshops

Participants visited Kalloni Gulf for a guided birdwatching tour led by environmental experts. At Desmos Cultural Venue, a workshop focused on key challenges and development opportunities in tourism. In the afternoon, a visit to Therma Spa Lesvos showcased efforts towards twin transition.

Day 3: Cultural and Stakeholder Engagement

Activities included exploring Ermou Street, visiting Ottoman baths, and a presentation on digital promotional materials for Lesvos hiking trails. The meeting concluded with final stakeholder presentations and a farewell lunch, strengthening partnerships and future collaboration prospects.
