Këshilli i Qarkut Durrës mori pjesë në Workshop-in e Tretë Tematik të projektit Green LUPO, i zhvilluar në Rouen, Francë, me temë “Transformation Instead of Demolition: Multiple and Secondary Uses of Sites”.

Aktiviteti nisi me sesionin e hapjes nga përfaqësuesit e Rajonit të Normandisë, ku u prezantuan objektivat kryesore të workshop-it dhe rëndësia e ripërdorimit të qëndrueshëm të zonave urbane dhe industriale. Gjatë paradites, ekspertë të fushave të planifikimit territorial, zhvillimit urban dhe menaxhimit të hapësirave prezantuan praktika dhe modele inovative që promovojnë transformimin e territoreve ekzistuese në alternativa të qëndrueshme për zhvillim.

Në vijim, partnerët e projektit prezantuan perspektivat dhe përvojat e tyre përmes një sesioni posterash, duke shkëmbyer njohuri dhe praktika mbi rigjenerimin urban dhe përdorimin efikas të hapësirave.Pas drekës, pjesëmarrësit zhvilluan një vizitë studimore në Distriktin Flaubert të Rouen-it, një shembull i suksesshëm i transformimit urban, ku u prezantuan zgjidhje konkrete për rigjenerimin e zonave të mëparshme industriale dhe integrimin e tyre në zhvillimin modern të qytetit. Programi vazhdoi me aktivitete rrjetëzimi dhe shkëmbim eksperiencash mes partnerëve evropianë të projektit.

Këshilli i Qarkut Durrës vazhdon të jetë i angazhuar në projektin Green LUPO, duke kontribuar aktivisht në shkëmbimin e praktikave të mira dhe në promovimin e zhvillimit të qëndrueshëm territorial në nivel rajonal dhe evropian.

Regional Council of Durrës Participates in the Third Thematic Workshop of the Green LUPO Project in Rouen, France

The Regional Council of Durrës participated in the Third Thematic Workshop of the Green LUPO project, held in Rouen, France, under the theme “Transformation Instead of Demolition: Multiple and Secondary Uses of Sites.”

The activity began with the opening session delivered by representatives of the Normandy Region, where the main objectives of the workshop and the importance of the sustainable reuse of urban and industrial sites were presented. During the morning session, experts in the fields of territorial planning, urban development, and space management presented innovative practices and models that promote the transformation of existing territories into sustainable alternatives for development.

Following this, project partners presented their perspectives and experiences through a poster session, exchanging knowledge and practices on urban regeneration and the efficient use of spaces.

After lunch, participants took part in a study visit to the Flaubert District of Rouen, a successful example of urban transformation, where concrete solutions were presented for the regeneration of former industrial areas and their integration into the modern development of the city. The programme continued with networking activities and exchanges of experience among the European project partners.

The Regional Council of Durrës remains committed to the Green LUPO project, actively contributing to the exchange of good practices and the promotion of sustainable territorial development at regional and European level.
