Këshilli i Qarkut Durrës merr pjesë në aktivitetet përkujtimore të 109-vjetorit të Krahinës Autonome të Republikës së Korçës

Këshilli i Qarkut Durrës mori pjesë sot në aktivitetet zyrtare të organizuara në Korçë me rastin e 109-vjetorit të shpalljes së Krahinës Autonome të Republikës së Korçës, një prej ngjarjeve më domethënëse të historisë shqiptare. Ky përvjetor shënon një moment reflektimi për identitetin, kulturën dhe trashëgiminë kombëtare, duke theksuar rolin që Korça ka luajtur në zhvillimet historike të vendit.

Kryetari i Këshillit të Qarkut Durrës, së bashku me përfaqësues të institucionit, ishte i pranishëm në të gjitha aktivitetet zyrtare, duke treguar mbështetjen dhe vlerësimin e qarkut tonë për këtë ditë historike.

Programi i përkujtimit u hap me një ceremoni solemne te Varri Monumental i Themistokli Gërmenjit, një figurë qendrore e historisë së Korçës dhe simbol i rezistencës dhe atdhedashurisë. Më pas, aktivitetet vijuan me:

• Paradën e artistëve me veshje tradicionale të rajonit, një prezantim i pasur i trashëgimisë kulturore dhe zakoneve lokale;

• Ngritjen e flamurit të Krahinës Autonome në Shtëpinë e Flamurit, një rit ceremonial me simbolikë të thellë historike;

• Ekspozitat tematikе “Një dritë lirie në errësirën e luftës” dhe “Na ishte njëherë”, të cilat ofrojnë një udhëtim vizual dhe dokumentar në realitetin historik të Republikës së Korçës.

Këto aktivitete synuan të sjellin në vëmendje figurat, ngjarjet dhe vlerat që kanë formuar këtë kapitull të rëndësishëm të historisë shqiptare.

The Durres Regional Council participated today in the official events held in Korça on the occasion of the 109th anniversary of the Autonomous Province of the Republic of Korça, one of the most meaningful milestones in Albania’s modern history. This anniversary serves as a moment of reflection on national identity, cultural heritage, and the historic role that Korça has played in shaping the country’s political and social development.

The Chairman of the Durres Regional Council, accompanied by representatives of the institution, was present throughout the official program, demonstrating the continued support and appreciation of our region for this historically significant day.

The commemorative agenda began with a solemn ceremony at the Monumental Tomb of Themistokli Gërmenji, a central figure of Korça’s history and a symbol of patriotism and resistance. The program continued with a series of cultural and ceremonial activities, including:
