Projekti HEATSAFE: Hapa konkretë drejt monitorimit mjedisor në Qarkun e Durrësit

Përfaqësuesit e Këshillit të Qarkut Durrës morën pjesë në takimin e radhës online me partnerët ndërkombëtarë të projektit HEATSAFE, ku në fokus të diskutimit teknik ishte Plani i Veprimit për Monitorimin e Aktiviteteve Pilote (A3.2).

Gjatë takimit u diskutuan dhe u koordinuan hapat e mëtejshëm për zbatimin e aktiviteteve të monitorimit në zonat pilote të Durrësit, me fokus të veçantë në:

Hartimin e protokolleve të monitorimit dhe përcaktimin e strukturës për mbledhjen dhe administrimin e të dhënave mjedisore.

Vlerësimin e komfortit termik në hapësirat urbane dhe analizimin e ndikimit të valëve të të nxehtit në shëndetin dhe mirëqenien e qytetarëve.

Identifikimin e vendndodhjeve strategjike për instalimin e sensorëve inteligjentë në zonat pilote të Durrësit, veçanërisht pranë zonës qendrore dhe institucioneve kryesore, përfshirë Prefekturën.

Të dhënat e mbledhura përmes këtij procesi do të ndihmojnë në kuptimin më të mirë të kushteve termike urbane dhe në përgatitjen e masave më të përshtatshme për mbrojtjen e komunitetit gjatë periudhave me temperatura të larta.

Bashkëpunimi ndërmjet partnerëve, përdorimi i teknologjisë dhe qasja e bazuar në të dhëna mbeten elemente thelbësore për ndërtimin e një Qarku Durrës më të sigurt, më të qëndrueshëm dhe më të përgatitur ndaj sfidave klimatike.

HEATSAFE Project: Concrete Steps Towards Environmental Monitoring in the Durrës Region

Representatives of the Durrës Regional Council took part in the latest online meeting with the international partners of the HEATSAFE project, where the technical discussion focused on the Action Plan for Monitoring Pilot Activities (A3.2).

During the meeting, the partners discussed and coordinated the next steps for implementing monitoring activities in the pilot areas of Durrës, with particular attention to:

Developing monitoring protocols and defining the structure for collecting and managing environmental data.

Assessing thermal comfort in urban areas and analysing the impact of heatwaves on citizens’ health and well-being.

Identifying strategic locations for the installation of smart sensors in the pilot areas of Durrës, particularly near the city centre and key public institutions, including the Prefecture.

The data collected through this process will contribute to a better understanding of urban thermal conditions and support the development of more effective measures to protect local communities during periods of high temperatures.

Cooperation among project partners, the use of technology, and a data-driven approach remain essential for building a safer, more resilient, and better prepared Durrës Region in the face of climate-related challenges.
