Takimi dyditor i Partnership Meeting në Barcelona Metropolitan Area u mbyll me reflektime të rëndësishme mbi progresin, sfidat dhe drejtimet strategjike të projektit. Gjatë punimeve, partnerët evropianë shkëmbyen përvoja mbi menaxhimin e valëve të të nxehtit, hartimin e hartave të vulnerabilitetit dhe qasjet e reja të qeverisjes klimatike, duke krijuar një kuptim të përbashkët mbi masat prioritare të mitigimit dhe adaptimit.

Modelet e Transformimit të Hapësirave Publike

Vizitat në dy prej strehëve klimatike të komunës Cornellà de Llobregat ofruan një demonstrim të qartë të mënyrës se si hapësirat publike mund të rikualifikohen në zona mbrojtëse, funksionale dhe të qëndrueshme për komunitetin.
Këto modele, së bashku me zhvillimet e Local Action Plans dhe praktikat e prezantuara nga fondacioni Arrels, u vlerësuan si shembuj të rëndësishëm që mund të përshtaten në territore të ndryshme.

Roli i Këshillit të Qarkut Durrës në Rrjetin Ndërkombëtar

Gjatë takimit, Këshilli i Qarkut Durrës prezantoi perspektivat dhe angazhimet e tij, duke forcuar rolin e territorit në rrjetin ndërkombëtar të partnerëve. Kontributi ynë në diskutime ndihmoi në rritjen e ndërveprimit ndërmjet rajoneve dhe shkëmbimin e praktikave që mbështesin zhvillimin e qëndrueshëm dhe përmirësimin e reziliencës klimatike.

Me këtë eksperiencë të vlefshme dhe me vizionin e përbashkët drejt zhvillimit rezilient, partnerët riafirmuan angazhimin për të avancuar masat klimatike dhe për të ndërtuar territore më të përgatitura për sfidat e së ardhmes.

Closing of the Partnership Meeting – Barcelona Metropolitan Area

The two-day Partnership Meeting in the Barcelona Metropolitan Area concluded with meaningful reflections on the project’s progress, challenges, and strategic directions for the next phase. Throughout the sessions, European partners exchanged experiences on heatwave management, vulnerability mapping, and emerging approaches to climate governance, building a shared understanding of the priority measures for mitigation and adaptation.

Showcasing Models of Public Space Transformation

The visits to two climate shelters in the municipality of Cornellà de Llobregat provided a clear demonstration of how public spaces can be transformed into protective, functional, and sustainable areas for the community.
These models, along with the advancements in Local Action Plans and the practices presented by the Arrels Foundation, served as valuable references that can be adapted across partner territories.

Durres Regional Council’s Role in the International Network

During the meeting, the Durres Regional Council presented its perspectives and ongoing commitments, strengthening the role of our territory within the international network of partners.
Our contribution supported greater interregional exchange and the dissemination of practices that foster sustainable development and improved climate resilience.

A Shared Vision for the Next Phase

The closing discussions defined the strategic steps for the project’s next phase, establishing a solid foundation for continued cooperation and enhanced coordination between regions.
With this valuable experience and a common vision for resilient development, partners reaffirmed their commitment to advancing climate measures and building territories better prepared for the challenges of the future.
