BLUNEW Round Table – Western Balkans University, Piramida e Tiranës

Këshilli i Qarkut Durrës mori pjesë në tryezën e zhvilluar nga Western Balkans University në kuadër të projektit BLUNEW – Blue Economy Network for Sustainable Innovation, i bashkëfinancuar nga programi Interreg IPA ADRION. Aktiviteti u mbajt në ambientet e Piramidës së Tiranës dhe mblodhi së bashku institucione publike, akademinë, sektorin privat, organizatat e shoqërisë civile dhe aktorë kryesorë të përfshirë në zhvillimin e Ekonomisë Blu.

Një Platformë e Rëndësishme Bashkëpunimi për Ekonominë Blu

Ngjarja shërbeu si një forum i rëndësishëm dialogu, ku pjesëmarrësit ndanë përvoja dhe praktika inovative, identifikuan mundësi të reja bashkëpunimi dhe shkëmbyen perspektiva mbi zhvillimin e sistemeve ujore – nga detet, te luminjtë, liqenet dhe ekosistemet përkatëse.
Tryeza konfirmoi rolin e Ekonomisë Blu si një sektor me potencial të lartë për inovacion, zhvillim të qëndrueshëm dhe krijimin e vlerës në rajon.

Diskutime mbi Qëndrueshmërinë, Digjitalizimin dhe Partneritetet Blu-Gjelbër

Diskutimet u përqendruan në rëndësinë e institucioneve për ndërtimin e ekosistemeve të qëndrueshme, digjitale dhe bashkëpunuese. U theksua nevoja për krijimin e partneriteteve të reja në sektorët e inovacionit blu dhe të gjelbër, si dhe për forcimin e bashkëpunimit ndër-rajonal nëpërmjet praktikave të suksesshme që kanë dëshmuar ndikim pozitiv në territor.

Pjesëmarrësit trajtuan gjithashtu mënyrat se si teknologjitë e reja, ndërveprimi ndërmjet aktorëve dhe qasjet e integruara në menaxhimin e burimeve ujore mund të kontribuojnë në rritjen e qëndrueshmërisë dhe rezistencës së ekosistemeve.

Kontributi i Qarkut Durrës në Rrjetin Rajonal dhe Evropian

Përmes pjesëmarrjes së tij, Këshilli i Qarkut Durrës vazhdoi të forcojë vizibilitetin e territorit në nisma rajonale dhe evropiane, duke sjellë perspektiva që synojnë përmirësimin e menaxhimit të burimeve ujore dhe nxitjen e zhvillimit inovativ.
Kontributet e dhëna ndihmuan në pasurimin e dialogut dhe në theksimin e rolit të qarkut si një aktor i angazhuar në projekte ndërkombëtare për zhvillim të qëndrueshëm.

Perspektiva për Bashkëpunime të Reja

Projekti BLUNEW hap mundësi të reja bashkëpunimi duke krijuar ura lidhëse ndërmjet institucioneve, kërkimit shkencor, sektorit privat dhe komuniteteve lokale. Nisma synon të ndërtojë një të ardhme më të pastër, më të zgjuar dhe më të qëndrueshme për Ekonominë Blu, duke kontribuar në zhvillimin harmonik të territoreve të Rajonit dhe Europës.

BLUNEW Round Table – Western Balkans University, Pyramid of Tirana

The Durres Regional Council took part in the round table organized by the Western Balkans University within the framework of the BLUNEW project – Blue Economy Network for Sustainable Innovation, co-funded by the Interreg IPA ADRION Programme. The activity, held at the Pyramid of Tirana, gathered public institutions, academia, the private sector, civil society organizations, and key stakeholders engaged in the development of the Blue Economy.

A Key Collaboration Platform for the Blue Economy

The event served as an important dialogue platform where participants shared experiences and innovative practices, identified new opportunities for cooperation, and exchanged perspectives on the development of aquatic systems – from seas to rivers, lakes, and their related ecosystems.
The round table reaffirmed the role of the Blue Economy as a sector with high potential for innovation, sustainable development, and value creation across the region.

Discussions on Sustainability, Digitalization, and Blue–Green Partnerships

Discussions focused on the role of institutions in building sustainable, digital, and collaborative ecosystems. Participants highlighted the need to create new partnerships in blue and green innovation sectors, as well as to strengthen interregional cooperation through successful practices that have demonstrated positive territorial impact.

The dialogue also addressed how emerging technologies, cross-sector collaboration, and integrated approaches to water resource management can contribute to the enhancement of ecosystem sustainability and resilience.

Durres Regional Council’s Contribution to Regional and European Networks

Through its participation, the Durres Regional Council continued to strengthen the visibility of its territory within regional and European initiatives, bringing forward perspectives aimed at improving water resource management and encouraging innovative development.
The contributions provided enriched the overall discussion and highlighted the Council’s role as an active actor in international projects for sustainable development.

Perspectives for New Collaborations

The BLUNEW project opens new pathways for collaboration by creating bridges between institutions, scientific research, the private sector, and local communities. The initiative aims to foster a cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable future for the Blue Economy, contributing to the balanced and long-term development of regions across Europe and beyond.
