Day One of the Partnership Meeting – Barcelona Metropolitan Area
The Durres Regional Council took part in the first day of the Partnership Meeting organized by the Barcelona Metropolitan Area (AMB), an important engagement within the framework of international cooperation on urban climate resilience. The meeting aimed to provide an overview of the latest developments related to institutional coordination, financial progress, communication components, and the strategic directions that will guide the next phases of the project.
Discussions on Heatwave Response and Climate Governance

The discussions also addressed the identification of mitigation measures and risk-reduction approaches, offering a comprehensive picture of both the achievements to date and the challenges ahead.
These discussions provided a broader understanding of how cities and regions can build capacities to adapt and strengthen climate resilience, particularly for the most vulnerable population groups.
