Takimi i tretë transnacional i projektit Tourism4SDG zhvillohet në La Rochelle, Francë

Më 19–20 mars 2025, në qytetin bregdetar të La Rochelle, Francë, u organizua takimi i tretë transnacional i projektit Tourism4SDG (Tourism for Sustainable Development Goals), i cili synon përmirësimin e politikave publike në sektorin e turizmit në përputhje me Objektivat e Zhvillimit të Qëndrueshëm të Kombeve të Bashkuara, në veçanti SDG 12.b.

Në këtë aktivitet morën pjesë përfaqësues të institucioneve partnere nga disa vende evropiane, ku u zhvilluan sesione tematike mbi turizmin e qëndrueshëm bregdetar, ekonominë blu, monitorimin e ndikimit të karbonit dhe integrimin e mjeteve të avancuara për matjen e qëndrueshmërisë në destinacionet turistike.

Gjatë dy ditëve të takimit, programi përfshiu:

• • Prezantimin e platformës Zéphyr dhe strategjive të rajonit La Rochelle për turizmin me emetime të ulëta karbonike;

• • Diskutime mbi ndikimin e turizmit dhe anijeve turistike në emetimet e karbonit;

• • Takime me aktorë lokalë që menaxhojnë zonat detare të mbrojtura dhe promovojnë sjellje të përgjegjshme mjedisore;

• • Prezantime nga partnerët e projektit mbi raportet e analizës së situatës në territoret e tyre;

• • Prezantime mbi menaxhimin social dhe mjedisor në industrinë e mikpritjes, përfshirë përdorimin e instrumenteve si KALIO dhe treguesit FIG;

• • Vizita në struktura si “Tribord Sailing Lab”, “Cabanes Urbaines” dhe “Chantier des Francofolies”.

Në përfundim, u organizua edhe Komiteti i Praktikave të Mira, ku partnerët shkëmbyen përvoja dhe reflektuan mbi mësimet e nxjerra nga praktikat ekzistuese.

Takimi u zhvillua në kuadër të programit Interreg Europe dhe është i bashkëfinancuar nga Bashkimi Evropian.

The third transnational meeting of the Tourism4SDG project takes place in La Rochelle, France

On March 19–20, 2025, the coastal city of La Rochelle, France, hosted the third transnational meeting of the Tourism4SDG project (Tourism for Sustainable Development Goals), which aims to improve public policies in the tourism sector in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 12.b.

Representatives from partner institutions across several European countries gathered for thematic sessions focused on sustainable coastal tourism, blue economy, carbon impact monitoring, and the integration of advanced tools for measuring sustainability in tourist destinations.

The two-day agenda included:

• • Presentation of the Zéphyr regional platform and La Rochelle’s low-carbon tourism strategy;

• • Discussions on the carbon footprint of tourism and cruise ship activity;

• • Meetings with local stakeholders managing marine protected areas and promoting environmental responsibility;

• • Partner presentations of state-of-the-art reports on their regional tourism contexts;

• • Presentations on social and environmental responsibility in the hospitality sector, including tools such as KALIO and FIG indicators;

• • Field visits to structures such as “Tribord Sailing Lab”, “Cabanes Urbaines” and “Chantier des Francofolies”.

The event concluded with the Good Practice Committee, where partners exchanged experiences and discussed lessons learned from implemented practices.

The meeting was organized within the framework of the Interreg Europe programme and co-financed by the European Union.
